Interesting...

Fascinating reading from Spouse One today regarding gifted children. Existential panics often accompany leaps in IQ. There's a great story here: about a girl having several weeks of tearful panics because of a huge jump in cognitive ability and the stress that that put on her. That has to be what was going on with me that year when I was 7 or 8. I know that they continued, but there was that one point where they were almost daily.
