"She Eats Canadian Food, you know..."

So we went to the chinese mall today. I don't know what else it's called. We always call it the chinese mall, but really, it's just a great mall where there's all these little vendors with interesting shops full of great stuff, and neat clothes, and bits and pieces.

We stopped at this one place that had a whole rack of jeans and I thought I'd look because I need some new ones, and I'm sick of getting stuff from Wal-Mart, and I can't afford to pay $50 for pants, and there were some big sizes, and there were a bunch that looked close to my size, and while I was looking, the lady who ran the store came along and started telling me about how she goes over to China and buys them, and has to look all over to find the big sizes, because people in Canada, are big, you know. Not like Chinese people, who are skinny, and short. Then she explains, that even her daughter, who was born here, is big, like me, because she eats canadian food, you know.

End result, two great pairs of jeans. One that's perfect, and one that's a bit tight as yet, but since my respirologist has approved aquafit again, should be good soon. :)

The awful part is that that little walk around, combined with going for ice cream, and getting a blood test pretty much did me in for the day. So then it's home to collapse onto the sofa and try to recover from the less than half an hour of walking around.

I'm getting tired of having lupus, and of dealing with this. At the last visit my rheumatologist added the diagnosis of fibro, which is good to know, because we've kind of suspected, but at the same time is pretty depressing as well.

We've had some good talks the last few days, and we're at least managing to sort it out I think. It's hard to juggle things when there's so much less that I can do.
